It fits my laptop fine, so no complaints there, but the padding feels thin. For something meant to protect a laptop, that’s kind of ridiculous. I’d feel better using it if it had a little more cushioning.

I got caught in a steady rain and expected at least something inside to get damp. Everything stayed dry, which was a relief. I will say, when I’d asked about how well it handled rain, I kind of felt dismissed, so I’m glad it actually worked out.

So... overall, the site was easy to navigate and I found the backpack details without too much hassle. A few pages felt a little long, though, and it took me a bit to compare the different sizes. It’s not bad, I just think the layout could be a little more organized and quicker to use.

I packed this for a week-long trip and still had extra room, which surprised me. The pockets are actually useful too, not just random little add-ons. I was a little nervous ordering because I never really trust customer service to be helpful if something goes wrong, but the bag itself turned out great. Happy with it overall.

I really wanted to like this, but it just isn’t holding up well. The zippers feel cheap, and the seams already started coming loose after barely using it. it feels like the manufacturer cut corners here, and that’s frustrating for something I expected to last longer

It fits the airline carry-on rules just fine, and I’ve used it twice without any issues at the gate. I was hoping to like it more overall, though, so I’m a little disappointed, but at least it does the basic job.

I’m really happy with my Tortuga backpack so far. The design is simple and clean, not super flashy or anything, which is exactly what I wanted. I also like the overall shape of it. The only small thing is that it can feel a little boxy sometimes, but it still looks really good overal

I’ve been using this backpack for a little while now, and overall it’s a good bag. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and the design is clean. But the more I used it, the more I found myself thinking about what I actually value in a travel bag. For the price, I expected it to feel noticeably better or make traveling easier in some meaningful way, and it just didn’t quite get there for me. It’s not a bad purchase at all, but compared to cheaper bags I’ve owned, I don’t feel like the extra cost really translates into a better experience.

I had to send back a bag because it just didn’t fit me the way I hoped. Customer service got back to me in maybe a day or so and made the return steps easy to follow. The refund took around a week, maybe a little more, which was slightly longer than I expected, but it did show up. Overall, it was a good experience, I just wish the return process moved a bit quicker.

I really wanted to be into this bag because the layout is good. I packed it up for a quick weekend trip, threw in my hoodie, charger, and a half-empty pack of gum, and everything had a spot. But the fabric felt thinner than I expected right away, especially for the price.
After just a little use, it started picking up scuffs faster than I thought it would. I wasn’t dragging it through gravel or anything, just setting it down in the car and on a hotel chair, and it already looked a bit worn. The zippers are probably my biggest complaint though. They catch around the corners, and one of the pull tabs already feels kind of loose.
Overall, the design makes sense and I can see what they were going for, but the materials and hardware don’t give me much confidence for real travel. It’s not a terrible bag, and I’ll probably still use it for light stuff, but it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I hoped.

I’ve had my Tortuga backpack for almost three years now, and it’s been through plenty: work trips, weekend getaways, and a couple of rough flights where it definitely wasn’t handled gently. It’s been crammed under seats and hauled around a lot, and to be fair, I’d expect some wear by now.

The zippers still run smoothly, and nothing has ripped or fallen apart. There are a few scuffs, but that seems totally reasonable given how much I’ve used it. compared with other bags I’ve owned, this one has held up really well

I bought the Tortuga backpack because I figured it would make travel easier, but it felt like they were aiming more for that “serious traveler” look than actual comfort. Even before I packed anything in it, it already felt bulky and heavy on my shoulders.

Once I added a few clothes and my laptop, carrying it through the airport got annoying fast. Maybe it’s great if you want something that feels super sturdy, but for me it seemed like the extra weight was there to make it feel premium, not practical. I wouldn’t buy it again

I really wanted this bag to work out, but the comfort just wasn’t there for me. After carrying it for a short time, the straps started digging into my shoulders, and the back panel felt way too stiff. Even when it was only half packed, it still didn’t sit right. For what this costs, I think the company needs to be more accountable for how uncomfortable it is in real use. I ended up leaving it behind and not using it for my trip, which was really disappointing.
